Red pork is red pork, not orange, wonton soup is authentic as ever, beef in black bean was on point, and the beef was tender. Shao mai was the best ever, and the chow mein 10000% everything tasted like I remembered. It's as if I took a step back in time. I took my mom out for lunch for her birthday, but then she wanted to try out another Chinese restaurant, but nothing was as good as the Chinese palace. I always tell my mates in n.z that their restaurants here can't compare to you guys, and I will always stand by this. Oh, and Sala, who served us, knew exactly what we used to order and sorted us out. Too good. Keep up the awesome food, and I can't wait to return to you. ”
